Queen's Diamond Jubilee logoEngland celebrates the Queens jubilee

From the 2nd to the 5th of June, the Queen and the rest of the United Kingdom plus other common wealth countries took pride in celebrating the 60 years that the Queen had been on the throne.
She is also Queen of Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Barbados, The Bahamas, Grenada, Papua New Guinea, The Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, St. Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Antigua and Barbuda, Belize and St Kitts and Nevis.
It was a very sentimental event in the UK that the whole nation celebrated by having a street parties, the traditional river pageants in London and much more festivities.
A million people turned up in London to take part in the festivities and to attend a Jubilee concert in her honor.

She is the oldest monarch to celebrate a Diamond jubilee and the second longest serving monarch which is something for us, and the other common wealth countries to celebrate and take pride in. Even though I wasn't in England, I watched the festivities on the television instead and it looked like a great celebration.
